POWDER APPLICATING
MACHINE

- For light dusting of talc or
chalk onto the surface of insulated cables during extruding.
- Powder is picked-up by contra-rotating
paddles & swirled into two contra-rotating circulating
clouds through which the cable passes.
- Powder adheres to the cable by
natural electrostatic attraction.
- The amount of chalk applied to
the cable is a function of the dust cloud density, which
can be controlled by adjusting the speed of the rotating
paddles.

ratio for lay adjustment, gearbox for direction change
and Pneumatically operated and electrically actuated
disk brakes are also provided.

steel structure on which 2 Steel Tape Pads of 600/800
mm dia. & 30-80 mm width can be tangentially mounted.
Brake band type tensioning arrangement of Tape. A
PIV gearbox 1.6 ratio for lay adjustment, A gearbox

electrically actuted disk brakes are also provided.
